iiSi Summer Meeting Recap: Strategy, Collaboration, and Connection in Minneapolis
Recap: iiSi’s Summer Underwriting & Marketing Meeting in Minneapolis
On July 22nd and 23rd, iiSi hosted its annual Summer Underwriting and Marketing Meeting in Minneapolis, bringing together team members from across the organization to align on strategy and prepare for the upcoming 1/1 renewal season. The gathering provided a valuable opportunity for collaboration, idea sharing, and forward planning as we gear up for one of the most critical times of the year.
Strategic Focus for 1/1 Renewals
Our July 22nd session centered around underwriting and marketing strategies for the 1/1 season. As always, our goal is to deliver responsive, data-driven solutions that meet the evolving needs of our broker and TPA partners. Discussions covered everything from competitive positioning and quoting process improvements to evolving market conditions and product innovations. We were also pleased to be joined by members of our Medical Risk Management nursing team, whose insights added important clinical context to the underwriting dialogue. Their contributions helped strengthen our collective approach to evaluating and managing high-cost claimants and improving overall risk assessment.
Management Team Strategy Session
While most attendees wrapped up their visit after the daylong meeting on the 22nd, iiSi’s management team remained in Minneapolis for an additional strategic planning session on July 23rd. This smaller group meeting provided space to dive deeper into company priorities, operational enhancements, and long-term growth initiatives.
Time Together Outside the Meeting Room
After months of video calls and emails, the opportunity for in-person connection with colleagues was a welcome and refreshing change. We enjoyed group dinners and informal catch-ups that helped strengthen our relationships and remind us of the shared culture that makes iiSi a great place to work. For those who stayed in Minneapolis after the main meeting, the iiSi management team capped things off with a fun evening of axe throwing—a great way to unwind and share a few laughs (and competitive spirit).
Looking Ahead
With the 1/1 season fast approaching, we’re energized by the ideas exchanged and the momentum built during our time together in Minneapolis. We’re confident that the collaboration and clarity achieved at this meeting will translate into stronger execution and continued success in the months ahead.
Thank you to all who participated to make this event a productive and meaningful experience.
